Q. DO YOU SERVE ALCOHOL AT THE STATE THEATRE?

A. For most shows geared toward audiences ages 21+, you may purchase beer and wine at The State Theatre. Guests are expected to obey all state and local laws governing the purchase, possession, and consumption of alcohol. It is illegal for anyone under the age of 21 to consume alcoholic beverages. In addition, the following items are to be noted:

  • There shall be a maximum limit of two alcoholic beverages sold to each guest, per purchase.
  • All guests who appear to be younger than the age of thirty-five (35) will be asked to show valid identification prior to being served alcoholic beverages. Acceptable forms of valid United States identification are: Driver’s License, Passport, State Issued I.D. Card w/ Photo, and Military I.D. w/ photo.
  • The State Theatre is legally required to report anyone under the age of twenty one (21) who is observed to be consuming alcohol on the premises or who appears to be visibly intoxicated.
  • At most events, service of alcohol will stop 45 minutes prior to the end of the event or at management’s discretion.
